Judith A. Johnson, 79, of Elnora, went to be with her Lord on Monday, May 8, 2017.
Judy was born in Elnora on March 22, 1938, to Jasper A. and Irene E. (Campbell) Hasler. Judy was a homemaker who loved raising her family on their farm. Judy graduated in 1956 from Elnora High School, and enjoyed reading, spending time with her children and grandchildren, cooking, her many flowers and watching and feeding her hummingbirds.
Judy is survived by her husband of over 45 years, Jack F. Johnson; children, Jackie Sue Osmon of Loogootee, Jan (Lonnie) Johnson of Bloomfield, Donna Jones of Pine Island, Florida, Bill (Genny) Osmon of Bloomington, Franki (David) Myers of Bloomfield, Toni (Meryl) Stalter of Chenoa, Illinois, Jackie Johnson of Salt Lake City, Utah; sister, Evelyn “Dickie” Frisz of Brea, California; 20 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; aunt, Genny Blocksom of Elnora; sisters-in-law, Charlotte May of Washington, Barbara (Elmer) Mason of Terre Haute; brother-in-law, Bob Adams of Brownsburg; special friends, Karen Blanton, Teresa Schantz, and Rosa Wagler.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Tammy Powell; one brother, Bill May; and one sister, Mary Lou Adams.
A private family service will take place at a later date. Arrangements and cremation services provided by Welch & Cornett Funeral Home, 23 South Jefferson Street, Worthington, Indiana 47471.
