A cooking mishap is what caused the fire that destroyed a home at 2920 West Old National Highway over the weekend. The Washington Times Heraldreports the home was occupied by Jason Warren and his two children. Mr. Warren is the owner and operator of Maysville Small Engine Repair. No one was injured in the blaze.
The family is being assisted by the Red Cross and through a “Go-Fund-Me accounts under “Single Dads House Fire”. If you’d like to help the family you can drop off donations at Antioch Christian Church or Bethel United Methodist Church.
