The Washington City Council and Board of Public Works meet in regular session tonight. The council will hold a hearing on a petition to vacate a portion of an alley bejomd 211-to 219 East Main. There’ll be an introduction of an ordinance on vacating a certain public way. There will be final reading of an ordinance on amending city permit fees.
The PACE Community and Child Development Center project is on the Washington Board of Public Works and Safety’s agenda this evening. Southern Indiana Development Corporation will be on hand to discuss grant administration and management services in connection with the project. There will also be discussion and likely approval of an agreement with Martin-Riley Architects and Engineers to conduct a feasability study for the city on behalf of PACE as part of the grant application process.
