A Loogootee man was jailed yesterday morning after a domestic violence incident. The crime occurred this past Sunday on Butcher Boulevard in Loogootee. Police responded to reports of a woman being threatened with a gun. Police arrived and found that the woman and man involved were separated and no charges were filed. Later in the day State Police were told that the woman had been allegedly choked by her boyfriend, 20 year old Jayce Wagoner. Wagoner had allegedly threatened the woman saying he would beat her up and beat up police officers if she reported the incident. Troopers later learned that Wagoner allegedly threatened to shoot and kill the woman earlier in the weekend.. Just before 11 yesterday Wagoner was arrested on a warrant for domestic battery, strangulation, intimidation and criminal confinement.
