Dinky’s on the Odon/Cannelburg Road will host the annual Haiti Benefit Supper and Auction this Saturday. It’s the 18th year for the event which benefits Blue Ridge International for Christ and International Faith Missions. Both provide relief and other efforts in Haiti.
The Washington Times Herald reports that Dale Wagler, who helps organize the yearly event in Daviess County was recently in Haiti and he and others helped with a well drilling project and other work.
On Saturday at Dinky’s the supper is a grilled chicken and sausage meal followed by an auction with quilts, furniture and more. Freewill offerings are being taken for the dinner.
