Boys High School Sectional tournament play begins next week across the region.  The class 3-A tournament will be at the Hatchet House and tickets for that sectional go on sale today. The cost is $10 per ticket and you buy them in the High School Athletic Office the rest of this week and Monday from 7:45 am to 3:30 pm through Monday. Ticket sales end at noon Tuesday the 28th. When you go to buy tickets enter Gate 6 at the High school.
As usual every year, Washington Community Schools and the Washington Police Department are putting out notice that parking regulations around the school will be strictly enforced. Those attending the games are reminded not to park on painted yellow lines, or near fire hydrants or intersections. Don’t park in violation of a posted warning sign, across are on sidewalks, between barricades, in posted fire lanes and don’t block driveways or parking lot entrances.
The school administration has authorized the police to enforce all parking regulations. Announcements of parking violations will NOT be announced during the games. If you leave a game and can’t find your vehicle call Washington Police at 812-254-4410 with a vehicle description or license number and you’ll be advised as to which towing service has your vehicle.
