Man jailed for leaving the scene of an accident

-On Wednesday, after an accident, city police charged 29-year-old Rodne Germain of Washington for leaving the scene of a property damage accident, operating while never licensed, and resisting law enforcement.  No bond was set.  He was arrested after going to the police station with another man reporting a stolen vehicle. The accident happened on Cosby Road when a vehicle hit utility pole at 3:10-am yesterday.  Police reports say two men had fled from the scene.

-Washington City conducted an investigation Tuesday and arrested 61-year-old Phllip R. George of Bloomfield.  He was charged with leaving the scene of a property damage accident, and two counts of operating while intoxicated including with endangerment. No bond was set.

-Washington police picked up 32-year-old Oakley R. Phillips of Washington on a failure to appear warrant yesterday.  Bond was posted.

-A Washington man is being held on a half million dollar bond after being arrested on a petition to revoke home detention.  State Police arrested 24-year-old Travis Peterson yesterday.

-50-year-old Chris Spaulding of Washington was arrested by city officers for operating while intoxicated Wednesday.  No bond was set.

-40-year-old Russel Landis was arrested on a warrant yesterday.
