Wayne W. Mize, 60, of Washington, passed away Jan. 14 at 2:05 p.m at Deaconess Main Hospital in Evansville.
He was born May 11, 1956, in Lake County, East Chicago, to Wayne and Barbara (Reel) Mize. He graduated from Washington High School
in 1974, where he lettered and made All Division and All State teams
for four years.
He worked for the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory before he became disabled.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa (Thompson) Mize, whom he married Sept. 3, 1983; two daughters, Magen Brook Mize of Florence, South Carolina, and Carlee Joana Mize of Washington; granddaughter Maddison Mae Mize of Washington; and mother-in-law LaConda Thompson.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
