A show billed as the Family Comedy Hour is slated for Friday night in Petersburg. It features two comedians at the Esteem Coffee Shop on Main. The shop caters to teens on weekends as a place for them to hang out in a safe and positive atmosphere. The Esteem Coffee Shop operates on donations and volunteers and the show is a fundraiser for the shop. For just $5 you’ll see comedian Big John Richardson who performs under the slogan “Clean Comedy for Dirty Minds”, Big John Richardson has appeared on the FOX Network and WB television, and will be seen soon on the Sprint Comedy Network. Big John has also been heard on the nationally syndicated Bob & Tom radio show and on Country Music Television’s “20 Greatest Redneck Moments”.
Opening for Richardson is Dustin Matteson a southern Indiana performer gaining notoriety throughout the region having performed at several venues throughout southwest Indiana. He centers on material from everyday life, containing family friendly humor . Again the tickets are 5 dollars and the show is Friday starting at 8 at the Esteem Coffee Shop on Main in Petersburg. Again it’s a fundraiser for the shop.
