Remember it’s a shortened business week for local government due to Thanksgiving
Washington city offices will be closed Thursday and Friday. There’s no trash pick-up and the city bus won’t run. The recycling center is alcos closed. If you have Thursday trash pick-up, have it ready by 7-am Wednesday, that’s tomorrow. If your trash is picked up Friday have it ready by 7-am on Monday.
The Daviess County Courthouse, County Highway Department and Daviess County Landfill are closed Thursday and Friday. As is the Chamber of Commerce, Senior and Family Services, Retired Senior Volunteer Program Offices, and Workforce Development. Post offices and license branches are closed Thursday. The Washington Carnegie Library is closed Thursday through Saturday. Ride Solutions is also closed Thursday and Friday.
