Patsy J. Garner, 74, died at 4:09 p.m. Thursday at Deaconess Hospital.

 


Born Sept. 4, 1942, in Daviess County, she was the daughter of Raymond and Imogene (Wright) Jackson.
She was a qualified medication aide and had worked in private patient care, local nursing homes and Good Samaritan Hospital. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church and taught a small youth class at church. She was a low income representative on the Head Start Central Council and was the board secretary in 1984, and served at Wabash Valley Human Services for five years.
She is survived by two sons, Kenneth Ray McAtee and Travis Wayne McAtee, both of Washington; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Donnita Jean McAtee.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Poindexter-McClure Funeral Home, Washington Chapel. Burial will be in Arnold Cemetery in Pike County.
