Absentee voting is off to a huge start in Daviess County

vote-8

County Clerk Janice Williams says as of Thursday at 9-am, there’ve been 430 walk-in voters at the courthouse.  135 ballots were issued by mail and 123 of those were returned.

Williams also says there’ve a few military and overseas ballots sent out as well.

Absentee voting in Indiana continues now through November 7th, the day before the election.

If you need a mail in ballot, it has to be returned by October 31st.

The Daviess County Courthouse will be open the two Saturdays before the election for absentee voting. That’s Saturday October 29th and Saturday November 5th.
