Billy D. Wilcoxen, 76, of Mitchell, formerly of Loogootee, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at his home.
He was born November 21, 1939 in Shoals, Indiana to the late Hobart and Velma (Conolty) Wilcoxen.
Billy loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. He enjoyed history, reading, and watching sports.
He was preceded in death by children, Richie Wilcoxen and Christina Martin; wife, Mary Beth Pinto; parents, Hobart and Velma (Conolty) Wilcoxen; brother, Eugene Wilcoxen.
Billy is survived by his son, Keith (Martina) Wilcoxen of Mitchell; grandchildren, Ryan (Ashley) Wilcoxen, Brandy Wilcoxen, Timmy Martin and Lynsey Martin; great-granddaughter, Gracen Wilcoxen; 1 step-grandchild and 2 great-step-grandchildren; brother, Leland (Rose Mary) Wilcoxen of Franklin; sister, Naomi (Ray) Neukam of Washington; sister-in- law, Aggie Wilcoxen.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee. Burial will follow in Goodwill Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 21, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee.
