Evelyn Edna Schnarr, 86 of Jamestown, NC, went to her Heavenly Home on September 3, 2016.
She was born on September 5, 1930 in Daviess County Indiana to Lewis
and Mary (Edwards)Wuertz. She graduated from Terre Haute Beauty College. On January 14, 1948 she married Charles Hugh Schnarr. Evelyn owned and operated salons for more than 49 years, and currently held a North Carolina Cosmetology License. She loved sewing, cooking, and baking. She was also a member of First United Methodist Church of Hudson, FL.
Evelyn is survived by her children: Marla Wallace (James), Steven Schnarr (Susan), and Lou Schnarr; 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; and sisters Cleta Lamb and Sharon Shaw. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hugh Schnarr and parents Lewis and Mary (Edwards) Wuertz.
The funeral service for Evelyn will take place on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 11am at Gill Funeral Home. Interment will immediately follow at Oak Grove Reeve Township.
