The Washington City Council will hold 2nd and final reading of an ordinance concerning the operation of golf carts in town on Monday night.
Prior to the regular meeting and reading of the ordinance, there’ll be a public hearing on the issue.
If it passes on Monday night, golf carts would be allowed to operate under certain stipulations and equipment requirements.

They’ll also have to have seatbelts and you’ll have to have a valid driver’s license.
The hearing on the ordinance is at 6:30 Monday night at the council chambers.
