Cody Austin Keith, 27 of Evansville went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 28, 2016.
Cody was born in Washington, IN to Jeffrey Austin Keith and Helen Sue (Wonder) Keith. Cody was a 2007 Washington High School graduate and went on to receive a bachelor’s degree from U.S.I. Before graduating college Cody was married to the love of his life, Brooke Michelle Stanley and together they had two beautiful children.
Cody was a dedicated member of the United States National Guard where he served as First Lieutenant. Cody was selected to serve as the Scout Platoon Leader for the Infantry Platoon 1-151 Infantry Battalion. Cody humbly served the Lord and his country; and his family worshiped at City Church of Evansville. Cody enjoyed hiking, mountain biking, and snowboarding; when time permitted he indulged in traveling to Colorado for these activities. Cody was an assistant manager with Astra Zenaca pharmaceuticals.
Cody is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mary Rose and William Gene Wonder.
Survivors include his loving wife, Brooke Michelle Keith; son, Jude Austin Keith; unborn daughter, Isabel Elise Keith; parents, Jeffrey Austin Keith and Helen Sue Keith; siblings. Christopher Bryan Breeden, and Cari Dawn Breeden; grandparents, Austin Jerome Keith and Barbara Ann Keith; nieces and nephews, Kaydence Rose Breeden, Elijah Blake Breeden, and Easton Michael Stanley; several cousins; mother-in-law, Christina Jo Eichmiller; brother-in-law, Matthew Stanley (Shelby); sister-in-law, Casey Stanley.
