A heat advisory is in affect from 10 am today to 8-pm tomorrow.
Temperatures will be in the mid 90’s with dew point temps in the mid 70’s and up to 100 percent humidity. The heat index will hit 105 plus today and tomorrow, the highest in several years in some places.
The heat advisory means the combination of hit temps and high humidity combine to where heat illnesses are possible. Drink plenty of fluids, stay of the sun and check on relatives and neighbors and keep animals and livestock watered and as cool as possible.
