Robert P. Mullins, age 84, a longtime resident of Mt. Pleasant Road, Loogootee, died Sunday night at the Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville, IN.
Mr. Mullins was born on March 7, 1932 in Missouri. He is retired from Citco Gas, Loogootee. Mr. Mullins graduated from the Bruceville High School, Bruceville, IN, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by three sons; Robert W. and wife, Phyllis Mullins of Loogootee, IN, Joseph A. Mullins of Huntingburg, IN, and Donald E. and wife, Cindy Mullins of Shoals, IN.
Six grandchildren; Chris Mullins, Kyle Mullins, Thomas Mullins, Dakota Mullins, Ashley Mullins, and Colton Mullins. he is also survived by six great grandchildren, along with a sister, Flo Small.
He is preceded in death by two half brothers, Chester and Lester Murphy.
Funeral rites will be Thursday, July 21, at 2:00 pm at the Lee Funeral Home, Loogootee. Visitation will be from 11am – 2pm on Thursday at the Lee Funeral Home, Loogootee.
Burial will follow in Mt. Union Cemetery, Loogootee.
