Several OWI arrests and others jailed for driving out a license…

 

-A Washington man was arrested by city police over night for operating while intoxicated, operating while intoxicated with a controlled substance and while never receiving a license, resisting law enforcement in a vehicle and possession of paraphernalia.  36-year-old Valerio Garcia Hernandez was booked into the security center at  2:12 this morning.

-59-year-old Nicholas L. Mattingly was arrested Sunday on a warrant for failure to appear.   Bond was set at $2000.  Bond was posted.

-Washington Police made a traffic stop Saturday at just before 8-pm at 10th and McCormick.  18-year-old Kiana C. Boone of Washington was charged with operating while never receiving a license. Bond was posted.

-A Washington Police investigation on Saturday resulted in the arrest of 39-year-old Melinda s. Edwards of Montgomery. She’s charged with unlawful possession of a syringe.  No bond was set.

-Indiana State Police served an arrested warrant on 25-year-old Carrie J. Black of Washington on Saturday.  She was wanted for failure to appear.

-22-year-old Kurtis R. Fuesler of Elnora was arrested by state troopers on Saturday for operating while intoxicated involving endangerment.  Bond was posted.

-A Henderson, Kentucky resident was arrested on Friday at 9:40-pm for being a habitual traffic offender, neglect of a dependent and reckless driving.  State Police report they clocked a 2015 Kia going 95 in a 70 mph zone on I69 south of the Washington exit.  The car was driven by 27 year old Lauren Marks.   Further investigation found that Marks was listed as a Habitual Traffic Violator for Life, meaning she is prohibited from driving. Marks also had an eight year old child in the front passenger seat with her. The child was cared for by the department of child services until Marks was released on bond.
