Two jailed in Pike County early today……

Indiana State Police arrested two people on I69 in Pike County this morning on meth charges.

A trooper stopped a Chevy S-10 near the 48 mile marker at 3:30-am after seeing the driver discard a burning cigarette.

While talking to the driver, 47-year-old John Fish of Bedford, the officer observed signs of impairment.  Further investigation revealed Fish was allegedly under the influence of meth.  During a search, meth was found in the vehicle.  Fish and his passenger, 34-year-old Talia Blake of Freedom, Indiana were both charged with possession of meth and taken to the Pike County Jail.  Fish was also charged with driving while intoxicated with meth.
