It’s a big night at the Daviess County Fair tonight as the 2016 Fair Queen will be crowned. The pageant starts at 8.
There are 4 candidates vying for Miss Daviess County tonight. Almost all have associations with Vincennes University
Brooke Baumert is 18 and the daughter of Mike and Donna Baumert. She just graduated from Washington High and will major in health informations at Vincennes University.
Kayla Parsons is the daughter of Sammy and Rhonda Parsons. She is also 18 and just graduated High School. She’s already earned an Associates Degree from VU through Washington High school.
Taylor Mallett is 19 and is the daughter of David and Angie Mallet and is a sophomore at VU studying agri-business.
Carrie Lane the daughter of Eric and Linda Lane of Washington. She is 18 and graduated from Washington. She plans to be an orthodontist.
Again the queen contest is at 8 at the fairground in Elnora.
