Cancer fighting event runs 11 to 11 on Saturday at East Side Park.
It’s Relay for Life weekend in Daviess County. The event which raises money for the American Cancer Society is 11 to 11 tomorrow at East Side Park in Washington.
Opening Ceremonies are at 11 followed by Survivor Lap at about 11:30am. The Luminary Service will be at 9:30pm at Baumert Lake. The day will be filled with teams walking and lot of games. Those not participating are still invited to stop by and take part in the fun and activities. According to the official Relay for Life website, Daviess County has 16 teams, nearly 200 participants and has raised over $16,000.
