Arrests and police reports

Alcohol arrests reported Monday and a hit and run crash Monday afternoon..

 

 

-A Washington resident was jailed on Monday for operating while intoxicated with a prior.  No bond was set at the Daviess County Security Center for 25 year old Tony Grannan.

-Daviess County officers arrested 30-year-old Tabitha Porter of Shoals on Monday. She’s charged with operating while intoxicated with refusal and possession of paraphernalia.  No bond was set.

-County authorities worked a car/deer crash at Daviess County Roads 1200 east and 350 north yesterday.  There were no injuries.  An ’08 Ford Truck was damaged in the incident reported at 6:45 am.

-At 2:45 pm yesterday a resident at 788 North 350 East reported a coal truck had hit power poles near their home and they were out of power.  REMC was dispatched to fix the problem.  The caller reported the river did not stop.  He later called in reporting damage and said he would head back to the accident scene.  He was ticketed for leaving the scene of a property damage accident.
