Local authorities investigate a crash near Alfordsville on Friday and burglaries in Washington on Sunday….
ACCIDENTS
-A property damage accident was reported Sunday at Northwest 1st and Orchard Road in Montgomery over the weekend.
-Friday at 6:23-pm, 27-year-old Ian Martin of Looogootee was northbound in an ’02 Isuzu on Daviess County Road 1200-east just south of 500-south near Alfordsville. He told authorities he hit some loose gravel and went off the road into a yard and hit a tree. There were no injuries and damage was estimated at 2500 to $5000. Martin was charged with operating while intoxicated and posted bond.

BURGLARIES
-Washington police investigated a burglary at 602 Virginia over the weekend. A kitchen window had been shattered and a flat screen tv was reported taken.
-Several tools and a new lawnmower were reported taken from a residence on East Walnut. The thieves also left behind graffiti on the walls. Police are investigating.
