Ron Critchlow of Washington has officially announced his candidacy for Daviess County Council at Large.
In his announcement Critchlow, a Democrat, is a former Daviess County Democrat Party Chairman. He served 12 years on the staff of US Congressman Frank McCloskey working as his Press Secretary and District Office Manager. He’s also a former sports editor for the Washington Times Herald and play by play high school sports radio announcer.
He says he’s concerned Daviess County has the 5th highest tax rate in the state and wants to work to change that and bring fresh ideas and positive solution to the county.
