At 11:20 p.m. Saturday, the Washington Police Department arrested 25-year-old Carrie Jean Black of Washington, on a Spencer County warrant for Failure to Appear on charges of Burglary and Residential Entry. Black was taken to the Daviess County Security Center to await extradition back to Spencer County.
Around 1:20 a.m. Sunday morning, an employee at McDonald’s Restaurant called the Washington Police Department about a car that was creating problems in the drive-thru lane. When officers arrived they arrested 18-year-old Kelly Denise Aldrich of Washington, on charges of possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. She has been released on bond.
Also arrested Sunday morning was 66-year-old Gary Walter Martin of Evansville. He was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Martin tested at .208 ACE. He was also cited for driving left of center. Martin was released on bond.
