Jerry W. Lawyer died peacefully at home in West Chester.

He was the beloved husband of Carol A. Lisowski Lawyer with whom he shared 27 years of marriage.

Jerry was born Dec. 23, 1940, in Washington, and was the son of the late Norman B. Lawyer and the late Laura Wallace Lawyer.

He graduated from Vincennes University and Michigan State University.

For 38 years, Jerry worked for Wyeth Ayerst International and in 2000 retired from Wyeth Nutritionals as senior director, nutritional products and process development.

Prior to moving to Pennsylvania, he was a Master Mason with a lodge in Michigan. Jerry enjoyed golf, fishing and was a bow hunter.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Lori B. Watson and her family; sister, Kay Rutkowski and her husband Joseph; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at the DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith and Boyd Funeral Home Inc., 410 N. Church St., West Chester, PA 19380; 610-696-1181, www.DellaFH.com.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at the SS. Peter and Paul Church, 1325 Boot Rd., West Chester, PA 19380.

Interment will be held in St. Agnes Cemetery, West Chester.
