Arrests, Accident and Incidents from the weekend

 

 

 

 

-A Washington woman was arrested on Saturday for driving while suspended with a prior.  24-year-old Ashley Woodyard posted bond.

-A Washington man is facing numerous resisting and other charges following a Saturday incident.  Police logs say a Washington officer was in pursuit of a vehicle headed south on Northeast 1st at around 4:30 Saturday afternoon.  The chase did not last long and 47-year-old John P. Walls of Washington was arrested for resisting law enforcement in a vehicle and on foot, reckless driving, false informing, driving while suspended and possession of a schedule 3 controlled substance.  No bond was set.

-39-year-old Randy Harper Junior of Bloomfield was jailed Saturday in Washington for driving while suspended with a prior. Bond was posted.

-A traffic stop at 9:43 last night at Northeast 4th and Bedford Road resulted in the arrest of 39-year-old John E. Choate of Washington.  He was charged with reckless possession of paraphernalia.  No bond was set.

-Daviess County Sheriff Department logs state authorities were called to a vehicle flipped over at 9:30 last night.  The call came from 650-east and 750-north.  The police logs say no one was in the vehicle and witnesses said the driver left in another vehicle.  The driver was eventually located and had complained of neck pain.  Reports are still being completed.

-A resident on Brett Cable Road reported that a bedroom window of the home had been shot by a BB gun.  The report was made at just after 7 last night.
