Travis Linneweber has announced his candidacy for election to an at-large seat on the Daviess County Council on the Democrat ticket.
He says he’s running to add diversity of opinion. He mentions that the current council is totally Republican and feels that democracy works best when ideas are challenged and debated rather than just accepted.
Linneweber serves on the board for Friends of the Washington-Carnegie Library. He also volunteers for Junior Achievement of Daviess County and participates in Rotary. Travis is also active as a coach for youth sports at the Daviess County Family YMCA.
