Indiana Conservation Officers released information yesterday concerning an arrest at the Pike State Forest that happened last Friday.
Officers report that they were patrolling the forest property and saw a man driving a mini-van with a baby sleeping on his lap. The child was not restrained.
The van was stopped and as the officers talked with 35-year-old Nathanial Willis of Otwell several other violations and crimes were discovered.
In addition to being charged with neglect of a dependent, Willis was jailed in Pike County for possession of meth, a legend drug injection device, paraphernalia, a firearm by a domestic batterer and for having an expired registration and false plates.
