A Wheatland man is dead and Wheatland woman is charged with murder after a stabbing last night.
Knox County Authorities were sent to a South Short Street residence last evening.
35-year-old Gerald Sturgeon was found stabbed and lying in the front door of the home. He was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital where he later died. An autopsy is scheduled for today.
After a search of a home, the apparently murder weapon was reportedly found. 39-year-old Candice Charlton was arrested on scene and charged with murder.
