Three people have been arrested for allegedly passing counterfeit bills in Vincennes and Bruceville.
Knox County Sheriff Mile Morris says the investigation started after a fake 50 dollar bill was passed at the Bruceville Mini-Mart.
Morris says further investigation led to a search warrant being obtained for a residence in Bruceville where additional evidence including a scanner and portions of other currency were confiscated. The occupants of the home Emilio Perez and Brittany Chambers were arrested and booked into the Knox County Jail charged with Fraud. Meanwhile, the driver of the car, Christopher Morales is charged with operating a motor vehicle without ever receiving a license.
Morris says Vincennes City Police assisted in the investigation.
