Local graduation rates well above 90%

As we reported earlier this week, Indiana graduation rates dropped from 90 to 88.9% last year, however, schools in our area were above the state average with Daviess County coming out well ahead of the state average.

The Washington Times Herald reports that Barr Reeve had a 100% graduation rate.  North Daviess had a 97%. Washington Community had a  98.1% rate and Washington Catholic finished with 94.7%.

The paper reports that Loogootee, Pike Central and all schools in Knox, Greene and Dubois Counties were also above the state average.
