About three to five inches of snow fell throughout the listening area depending on where you are.
Schools were closed in most areas, some in Greene and Sullivan Counties did operate on a delay today.
According to the weather experts this is the first of two systems hitting the area this week.
The National Weather Service says a low pressure system will track across the southern part of the US last Thursday and Friday and that could cause some more snow over Southern Indiana. The weekend looks dry with moderate temperatures.
