William L. Sutt, 73, Petersburg

William L. Sutt, 73 of Petersburg, IN passed away at 4:40pm on Thursday, December 10th at Memorial Hospital in Jasper, IN.

William was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to Clayton Sutt and Marjorie B. Robertson Sutt.

William was a Truck Driver for Ten Point Trim.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Dorothy Marie Sutt, whom he married on September 30th, 1962. Also surviving are two sons, Brian (Jamie) Sutt of Petersburg, Jason (Whitney) Sutt of Oakland City; two daughters, Leisa Sutt of Petersburg, LeAnn Stephens of Huntingburg; five brothers, Walter Sutt, Allen Sutt, Jerry Sutt, Everett Sutt and Dennie Sutt; four sisters, Laura Sowders, Irene McConchie, Annie Houston, and Jeanie White; eight grandchildren, Daniel, Aaron, Zac, Jalen, Hallee, Abby, Baylee and Kase; and five great grandchildren, Chase, Reese, Madalynn, Karsynn, and Aurora.

Preceding William in death were one daughter, Belinda Kaye; two brothers, Steve Sutt and Robert Sutt; one sister, Janet Bratten; and two grandchildren, Travis and Chase.

A Memorial Service will take place on Sunday, December 13th at 3pm at Harris Funeral Home with Ronnie Crawford officiating. Visitation will be from 1-3pm Sunday at Harris Funeral Home.

William was an avid listener to WAMW since the station started. He had won many contests on the station.
