Daviess County arrests

-A Washington man was arrested on Thursday for being a habitual traffic offender.  38-year-old Mathew E. Winninger was booked into the Daviess County Security Center at 3:03-pm yesterday on the charge.  He posted bond.

-The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department website shows that 31-year-old Jesse Ottis Brown of Montgomery was booked into jail at 1:10 yesterday on charges concerning the manfucature of cocaine and sale of a controlled substance.

-As we reported yesterday, the three who were rescued from last weeks West Walnut Fire in Washington were arrested on warrants for theft and conspiracy this week. The Washington Times Herald reports the charges stem from the theft of an ultrasound machine and gel from a doctor’s office on Memorial Avenue. The machine was valued at between seven and eight hundred dollars. The paper reports that Ashley Woodyard is pregnant and was in the office with her parents Shana and Estel Satterfield.  Medical personnel had left the three alone for a time.  Later the macine was discovered missing. The crime took place November 23rd.

TRIO ARRESTS
