He couldn’t say much, but what he did say means a potential 20 million dollar investment along the I69 Corridor in Washington.

Daviess County Economic Development Foundation Executive Director, Ron Arnold told the Daviess County Council on Wednesday that he’s been on contact with the Consul-Generals of Japan and Canada.  He says a 20 million dollar potential development would call for improving US 50 from the interstate to Billings Crossroads, rerouting County Road 200-east. A new water treatment facility would also need to be built on the east side of Washington.

Arnold apologized to the council for not being able to disclose more about the project but said secrecy is the norm when dealing with corporations and businesses looking for areas to locate.  He did offer to go into detail with Daviess County officials if they agreed to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
