Debra K. Healy, 60, of Washington, passed away Sunday at her residence.
She was born April 27, 1955, in Jasper, to Murele (Neukam) and Kenneth Ahrens.
She was a 1974 Jasper High School graduate. She loved sewing and loved writing letters. She was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church.
She is survived by husband, James E. Healy, whom she married June 30, 1979; her mother; one son, James (Juliem) S. Healy of Washington; one daughter, Joetta Healy of Washington; brothers Kenny Ahrens of Missouri, Mitch Ahrens of Jasper, Tony(Christy) Ahrens of Jasper, Keith (Pam) Ahrens of Jasper; a sister, Brenda (Harold) Hess of Cannelton; and four grandchildren, William Wright, Conner Healy, Mariah Healy and Amelia Healy.
She is preceded in death by her father.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, with Rev. Gordon Mann as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Thursday at Ed Lee Mortuary.
