Carrie Troutman, 88, of Louisville, KY., formerly of Loogootee, IN., passed away at 4:13 p.m. pm on Thursday, November 26, 2015 at Hosparus in Louisville, KY.
She was born April 28, 1927 in Shoals, IN to the late Thurman and Pearl (Songer) Jones.
Carrie was employed at NSWC Crane for 28 years. She loved sewing, reading and traveling.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Winston Troutman; parents, Thurman and Pearl (Songer) Jones and sister, Alberta Dillman.
Carrie is survived by her daughter, Connie Troutman of Louisville, KY; sister, Rose Queen of Bloomington and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 30, 2015 Hindostain United Methodist Church Cemetery in Shoals.
Visitation will be held Monday, November 30, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee.
