One person was injured in an accident at just after 7-am yesterday on State Road 57 north of Washington. Daviess County Sheriff’s Jerry Harbstreit told a crowd at the city council chambers last night that the victim was one of his deputies.
According to police reports the accident involved two vehicles. The injured was taken to Good Sam in Vincennes and later flown to Methodist in Indianapolis for treatment according to Harbstreit.
