William I. Feagans Jr., 68, of Loogootee, passed away at 12:40 a.m. on November 19, 2015 at Loogootee Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born December 5, 1946 in Montgomery, IN to the late William I. and Margaret (Duncheon) Feagans.
William graduated from Montgomery High School in 1965. He retired from NWSC Crane in 1999. He was the past president of St. Vincent De Paul and a current member of the Board of Directors for the St. Vincent De Paul Store. He was a member of Knights of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William I. and Margaret (Duncheon) Feagans; infant brother, Douglas Joseph Feagans and nephew, Derek Arvin.
William is survived by his wife, Janice (Cutshall) Feagans; brother, Louis “Ed” (Connie) Feagans of Martinsville; sisters, Peggy Arvin and special friend Paul Leo Strange of Loogootee and Mary Teresa (Dale) Miller of Montgomery; sister-in-law, Phyllis (James) Lannan of Loogootee and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Very Rev. J. Kenneth Walker and concelebrant Rev. Leo Kiesel and assisting minister Rev. Ed Frost at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 23rd, 2015 at St. John the Evangelist in Loogootee. Burial will follow in St. Peter Catholic Cemetery in Montgomery.
Visitation will be held Sunday, November 22, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Monday, November 23rd, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee.
