Ida Knepp, 99, of Odon, IN, passed away at 6:37 p.m. on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Ketcham Memorial Center.
She was born January 16, 1916 in Daviess County, IN to the late Victor and Caroline (Graber) Knepp.
Ida was a charter member of Bethel Mennonite Church. She taught Sunday school for many years at Bethel Mennonite Church and taught Bible School in Kentucky.
She worked at children’s home in West Liberty, Ohio and was a nanny for Dr. Chattin’s family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Elmer, James and Jerry Knepp; sisters, Rosanna Knepp, Maggie Marie Knepp, Mildred Faye Knepp and Barbara Ellen Yoder.
Ida is survived by sister, Esther (Ivan) Swartzentruber of Montgomery and many nieces, nephews and family friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Bethel Mennonite Church in Odon. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 20, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. until time of service at Bethel Mennonite Church.
