The Daviess County Amateur Radio Club will be holding an amateur radio technician class and license testing this weekend. It’s Saturday and Sunday from 8 to 8 both days at the Daviess County Security Center.

It’s an opportunity for anyone to have the potential to obtain their technician level amateur radio license; or for an existing amateur radio operator to upgrade their current license.

No prior radio experience is needed.  The class will teach you everything you need to know.

The license examination is scheduled for Sunday at around 6:30pm  and will cost fifteen dollars per test. You can take the test a maximum of twice on Sunday.

There is no charge for the class. For more information call 812-486-8088 or visit daviesscountyarc dot org.
