BLOOZE BROTHERS

BLOOZE BROTHERS

We’ve been talking about it for weeks and tomorrow night is the big night as The Blooze Brothers are in town. It’a  benefit for the Washington and Barr reeve High School Bands.

The musica act is a tribute band to the  original “Blues Brothers” that featured Dan Ackroyd and the late John Belushi.

The group is performing at Washington High School tomorrow night at 8.

Band founder Elwood Blooze, says the teen musicians will share the stage with the talented tribute band for six to eight songs.  He says the kids won’t just be backup musicians but will be featured part of the numbers.

He says the show is not all about him and Jake Blooze but it’s about mentoring the young players.

Tickets are $15 and are available at Chuckles on Walnut Street.  Tomorrow night the prices will be $20 at the door.  Again proceeds go to benefit the band programs at Washington and Barr Reeve High.   Again the show is tomorrow night (Sat) at 8-pm at Washington High School.
