Margaret N. Taylor of Washington and Naples, Fla., passed away peacefully on Oct. 15, 2015, surrounded by family.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Charles E. Taylor; son, Charles “Chuck” E. (Jill) Taylor Jr. of Washington; daughter, Susan J. (Craig) Mills of Marco Island, Fla.; and grandchildren, Charles “Chase” E. Taylor, III, Katherine Jilayne “Layne” (Jarred) Stuckey, Nicholas “Nick” W. Mills and Taylor A. Mills; great granddaughter, Katherine Harper Stuckey; and brother, Thomas A. Brady of Washington, D.C.

In addition to her parents, Frank A. and Winnie Chester Brady, Margaret was preceded in death by her son, Frank Paul, and sister, Frances Williamson.

Margaret was born March 14, 1925, in Fulton, Ky. She graduated from Murray State University in Kentucky with a Bachelor of Science degree and taught school in southern Illinois. She was also a professional Girl Scout leader and an avid golfer. A devoted and loving wife and mother, full of gentle grace, Margaret will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be at 1 p.m. on Nov. 1 with a memorial service to follow at 2 p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church in Washington, with Rev. Dean Stuckey officiating.
