Elizabeth Ann Walker, age 46 of Petersburg, IN, passed away in Jasper, IN at Brookside Village on Sunday, October 18, 2015 after battling cancer. She was born on March 15, 1969 to Lawrence and Nancy (Wood) Long on Williams Air Force Base in Mesa, AZ.
Elizabeth married Timothy James Walker on November 2, 2002, and he survives.
She had worked as a hair stylist for years after completing Cosmetology School, and Elizabeth enjoyed her online Bible groups.
Surviving family includes: her husband- Timothy James Walker of Petersburg, IN: four step-children- Eric Walker, Beth Kellems, Jason Walker, and Kevin Walker: five siblings- Debra Spencer and her husband Kevin of Petersburg, IN and their family; Cathie Whitney of Petersburg, IN and her family; Joe Long and his wife Elizabeth of Petersburg and their family; Sarah Patrick and her husband Byrne of Jasper, IN and their family; and Kevin Long and his wife Joann of Vernal, UT and their family. She is also survived by the step-children of her late brother, Larry Long.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Nancy Long, and one brother, Larry Long.
As per Elizabeth’s wishes, her body will be cremated. There will be a memorial service held at a later date. Cunningham-Young Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, IL is assisting her family with arrangements.
