Futaba Indiana held an open house at its plant in the U,S, 41 Industrial Park Sunday.
Zane Duckworth, Environmental Health and Safety manager with the Vincennes plant says they wanted to give the public an opportunity to see what goes on inside the plant.
He says Futaba is a major supplier of parts for Toyota in neighboring Gibson County.

The plant is fully automated and Duckworth says employees go through an in-house training program before there allowed to work on the machinery.

Duckworth says they employ 800 people at the Vincennes plant. He says the majority of the workers come from Knox and Daviess Counties in Indiana and also from Lawrence County, Illinois.
