Robert L. Kane of Montgomery, IN, passed away at 10:10-am on Sunday, September 27th, 2015 at Hillside Manor in Washington.

Robert attended Alfordsville School.

Robert retired from Crane and farming. He enjoyed working on the farm with his cows and driving through the country side.

He is preceded in death by his mother Elizabeth Kane and his wife Barbara (Strange) Kane.

Robert is survived by his sons:  John (Mary Sue) of Greenwood, In; Thomas (Karen) of Montgomery, In.; and Charles (Marijo) of Washington, In.  7 grandchildren,10 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at St. Peter in Montgomery, officiated by Rev. Joseph Erbacher.  Burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery, Corning.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Brocksmith-Blake and Wagler Funeral Home in Montgomery, Indiana.
