Mark Henry Troutman, 63 of Washington went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 23, 2015.
Mark was born March 12, 1952 to the late Elsworth “Alex” Troutman and Mary Sue Utterback Troutman. He was a 1970 graduate of Washington High School and on September 23, 2006; Mark was wed to Theresa Friedman. Mark retired from IP&L and Hoosier Energy in Petersburg, and was a member of Bethany Christian Church. He was a founding member of the 20th Century Chevy Car Club and Indiana Bow Hunter’s Organization. Mark enjoyed hunting, drag racing, showing horses, gun spot shoots, and watching his grandsons race sprint cars, and play baseball and basketball.
Mark was a mentor, teacher, and friend to so many and will be greatly missed.
Mark is survived by his loving wife, Theresa Troutman; four children, Angie Braziel (Shawn), Dustin Troutman, Dusty Whilhite (Brandon), and Mindy Gayhart (John); grandchildren, Zac Taylor, Megan Troutman, Derek Quigley, Ryne Whilhite, Addison Whilhite, Wyatt Gayhart; two brothers, Steve Troutman (Sherry), and Phil Troutman (Debbie); two nieces; and two nephews.
There will be a memorial visitation at Bethany Christian Church on Saturday, September 26, 2015 from 1:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. with a Celebration of Life following at 5:00 P.M. also at the church.
