As we head into fall, thoughts begin to move forward to the holiday season.
The Daviess County Christmas Parade Committee has decided to light up the streets of Washington with a lighted Christmas Parade this year. It’s slated for November 28th at 6-pm in downtown Wahsington. The theme is “A Daviess County Christmas Parade of Lights”.
The committee is encouraging churches, schools, businesses, civic groups, clubs, organizations and citizens of the Daviess County Community to get excited about being a part of the lighted parade They hope to see lots floats with light displayes and hear lots of music being heard. Cash prizes will be awarded in various categories.
The Committee says additional information will be forthcoming as we get closer to the parade date.
